A Poem by Sushmita Mangaonkar
When people are unsatisfied
And search for happiness outside
Break their moral values and
Set themselves up in problems
When they get all the love
But crave for outer appearance
When they are always stressed
And look outside for pleasures
Extra – a little more which we seek
And breaking trust is “worth it,” we think
But it would not fulfill your emptiness
No one else, except you yourself, is being cheated.
Your partner may forgive you once
But you will never be able to go ahead
You will stray in guilt always.
For some temporary pleasure, you may
Lose someone’s trust and that someone forever.
